In conjunction with the announcement that Thor: Ragnarok now has an official DVD/Blu-ray release date, Marvel has unveiled an exclusive gag reel that proves the making of the film was just as much of a delight as the finished product. That’s thanks in no small part to director Taika Waititi, who opens the short clip by treating viewers to the rarely heard lyrics to the Marvel Studios production logo. Judging from this gag reel, days on set were filled with a lot of goofing around and a lot of dancing, most of it good, and most of it instigated by Waititi himself.

“It’s been like that the whole time. Just cracking up on set,” said the film’s titular star Chris Hemsworth, who was not only under the direction of Waititi but got to perform alongside him when the director donned his motion capture suit to play to role of Korg. “It’s definitely the most lighthearted, fun set I’ve been on.” Making this movie together seemed like so much fun, that it’s no surprise Hemsworth and Waititi have reportedly already been discussing their next Thor adventure together.

Check out the full video to see Taika Waititi give a tour of a “Saakarian Radio Shake” before having a mini-dance off with Jeff Goldblum. The appearance he has is one closer in appearance to a vizier to a dictator than standard battle gear, as he looks more like he’s ready to plot a war campaign than he is to actually get into a fight.Tessa Thompson’s standout performance as the legendary warrior turned drunken bounty hunter, Valkyrie, was one of the most memorable parts of Thor: Ragnarok. Earlier this week, we learned that Valkyrie’s popularity has lead to an MCU-inspired version of the character appearing in a Marvel Universe comics series, Exiles. If concept artist Aleksi Briclot’s early work on the film had been approved, the Tom Hiddlestoncharacter would have shaved his head — not in its entirety, though. The center of Loki’s head would have been topped with a mohawk look. Even better: it looks like the hair taken from the sides of Loki’s head were then transferred to his face, adding a beard to the mix.

“Another early concept art for Loki,” Briclot wrote. “Played by the intense and awesome [Tom Hiddleston]. The final concept was designed by [Anthony Fransisco]. I was trying something else with the haircut on this one.” Something else is right!

Loki’s next appearance will come in the form of Avengers: Infinity War. Picking up right where Thor: Ragnarok left off, he will look as he did in the final moments of November’s Marvel Studios film.

This is not the first bizarre design for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s cosmic characters. Earlier this week, a design for Thor which could have branded him as a member of House Stark on Game of Thrones was released as it was created for the second Thor movie, Thor: The Dark World. In hope’s of landing the film a Best Adapted Screenplay nomination, Disney has uploaded the film’s full screenplay to its Walt Disney Studio Awards website. You can download the entire 129 page PDF to your computer right now. So far Ragnarok has not received much awards love, and didn’t get a single nomination for this year’s Golden Globes.Fans of the movie will likely enjoy the behind the scenes look at the movie making process, or maybe just have fun reliving the film in its original format. No word on how long Disney will leave the PDF download up, but if you download it now, you can keep it on your hard drive forever.

Tessa Thompson captivated audiences as the Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok last year, in a take on the character whose origin story had some significant differences from the comics. Now, Marvel has figured out the perfect way to bring Ragnarok’s Valkyrie to comics as well: She’s joining the Exiles.

The Exiles are one of the more unique superhero teams at Marvel, a handful of characters from different Marvel timelines and parallel earths, brought together by a trans-dimensional entity in order to hop through different realities, fixing problems in each one. Think Sliders, crossed with Quantum Leap, populated entirely by Marvel characters — a perfect way to make a nod to the Marvel Cinematic Universe without actually crossing them over.
